Channel Seven's Better Homes and Garden Filming

The presenters from Seven’s popular lifestyle show, Better Homes and Gardens, are heading to Caloundra next week to take on one of their biggest challenges yet - renovating a Queenslander cottage in the car park of Bunnings.

At the end of the week, they will auction off the partially renovated home to the public with all proceeds going direct to local charities, Inclusive Kids and Gateway Care.

There is no reserve price and the cottage must sell at auction – this could be Australia's cheapest house!

On offer (after renovation):

• A two bedroom Queenslander cottage with separate living and dining areas

• Huge entertainers deck at rear with smaller deck at front

• Brand new kitchen with new oven, stove top and some new floor coverings

• Fresh paint (inside and out)

• Freshly painted and carpeted bedrooms

NB: the bathroom is functional but dated and will remain untouched

If you’re in the market for a Queenslander cottage or just want to say hello, come down to Bunnings on Caloundra Rd on the weekend of Friday, August 13, Saturday, August 14 and Sunday, August 15 from 9.30am.

The Better Homes and Gardens team of Johanna Griggs, Rob Palmer, Fast Ed, Jason Hodges, Graham Ross, Karen Martini, Tara Dennis and Dr Harry Cooper will be doing in-store demos, autograph signings and filming segments for a future episode.

The auction will take place in the Bunnings car park at 3pm on Sunday, August 15. Interested bidders must pre-register onsite prior to the auction.
