The annual "Orchids in April", hosted by the Sunshine Coast Orchid Society Caloundra, is promising to be a superb show, with nine orchid societies from Gympie to Bribie exhibiting their best blooms, as well as bromeliads, anthuriums and ferns. Other features include talks on orchid culture; potting demonstrations; sales of bark, books, pots etc; plants sales; raffles; and delicious home baking to accompany drinks from the kitchen.
Entry is $3 per adult, $2 each for bus groups or groups of ten or more, and children are free.
There is ample free parking and wheel chair access.
