Model Railway Display

It is time again for the Caloundra Model Railway Association Sale and Display Day!

Entry is FREE!

Visits have been organised by several Rail Groups. The members of these clubs will be bringing their show layouts complete with buildings and scenery which is sure to bring back some childhood memories to many visitors.

There will also be a childrens timber track setup with Thomas and Friends and a book shop. An assortment of preloved railway rolling stock, great books and magazines, engines, tracks, buildings and electrics will be on sale. This exhibition has been staged over many years and attracts a wide range of visitors from enthusiasts to beginners as well as families.

Club members will be on hand to offer friendly advice. Light refreshments will be available (very good sausage rolls) and drinks. There will also be a raffle with the prize being a choice of dinner at Rydges Oasis Resort or a model train set and a Saturday family pass on Mary Valley Heritage Railway (The Rattler).

Note - the Club will have a static display of model trains on show at both the Caloundra and Kawana Librarys.
