At the 2010 ARIA Awards, Birds of Tokyo not only received 6 nominations, but walked away with their first ever ARIA for Best Rock Album. They also delivered one of THE performances of the night; propelling 'Plans" higher up the iTunes chart than any other performance on the night. adding to the accolades they were named Band Of The Year at the GQ Awards and most recently they received the publicly voted Rolling Stone's Reader's Choice Award whilst 'Plans' was voted #4 in Triple J's Hottest 100.

In touring news, Birds Of Tokyo have just come off the road after receiving rave reviews for thier performances on the Big Day Out.
