The Four Paws Animal Rescue are hosting a fundraising and awareness event - Walk for Paws, on Sunday 21 August, 2011.
Four Paws are a non-for-profit organisation that provides animal refuge for homeless dogs and cats on the Sunshine Coast. Most of their animals come from the Council pounds, while others are either surrendered, abandoned or saved from cruel living conditions.
Enjoy live music, sausage sizzle, dancing dogs display, pet fancy dress competitions and lots of family fun. Lots of stalls and stands from local pet businesses. Information on vet care and food etc and dog obedience displays.
Mega huge raffle draws and all money raised goes to 4 Paws.
Cost is $5 per dog. Dogs must be on leash. Other animals welcome.
